    Things I liked:

If I cannot hit a quarter sized target consistently at 25 yards, it is me and not this rifle. There is nothing more frustrating than large groups at that distance when trying to control pests. Benjamin gives you a ton of value in this offering, I believe you get the precision of a much more costly rifle for this amount, and with the proper pellet selection and careful tuning, I cannot imagine anything else out there being much better without spending at least 6X more. Mine (.22 caliber) shot real well right out of the box, It shoots all the Benjamin Premier ammo well, and I have seen sub MOA groups on YouTube with the proper pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a whole lot. I would like a Picatinny rail, so my choices of scope rings would be better and I would have probably had a set instead of having to buy .22/air rifle rings that do not clamp nearly as well as the Weaver style mounts. It would also be nice to have the option to replace the air reservoir in the field so you can buy a few extra and charge them while watching tv at night and go out to the field the next day without a tank or an air pump.

    What others should know:

Good reviews on any service issues by Benjamin, you get more rifle than you pay for, extremely tunable with plenty of aftermarket parts, excellent internal regulator that gives you 36 consistent shots (in my .22 cal, probably more in .177) from a 3000lb charge, looks great with a scope mounted and is not super heavy.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy & how quiet it shoots. Neighbor friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at this point.

    What others should know:

The Benjamin Marauder is very accurate. Consistent grouping at 20 yds is about the size of the pellets. Almost all in the same hole. It's also neighbor friendly. Quiet shooting.

    Things I liked:

    Good trigger. Quiet. Nicely priced.

    Things I would have changed:

Well, out of the box, it could only shoot through one side of a soda can and could not group well enough at 10 yards to even call the shots a "grouping." Spent many hours online with customer service and reading airgun blog how-to's to optimally adjust the hammer tension and stroke, and metering screw. But to no avail. I suspect it suffered from severe valve lock. It's going back for an exchange - hope this was just a dud and the replacement will live up to the hype.

    What others should know:

I will amend this review pending my results with the 2nd gun.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. The synthetic .25 is an amazing weapon. I have consistently put a hole in a hole at 40-50 yards with this gun. I love it. I am 53, and my first Benjamin was a pump .177 when I was 11 yrs old. I have a scope on it as well. Still shoots fine. I'm on my 12th air rifle and the Marauder has become my fave.

    Things I would have changed:

Needs a thumbhole stock. Would like to be able to order the wooden stock.

    What others should know:

    You'll love the .25 caliber.

    Things I liked:

Cheaper than other PCPs if you want to try one out. Adjustable power setting.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is unpredictable; never could tell where it was going to break. Bolt is hard to cock and caused you to break position. Not very accurate when turned down to 600fps. Not very quiet either. My Avanti at 550 fps is as quiet if not quieter than the Mrod turned down. Not as quiet as you would think at 700 fps. My R7 is quieter.

    What others should know:

OK, I am being harsh on the Mrod, but it did not do for me what I needed it to do. That is, I shoot 22LR small bore silhouette with a $1800 Anschutz that is topped with a $700 scope, so I wanted a gun that (1) felt like a sporter rifle; (2) was 1 hole accurate at 10 yards; (3)was quiet; (4) had a predictable trigger that I could set for 2 lbs. My FWB 300 and Avanti will put 5 shots into the same hole when benched at 10 yards in my basement. The Mrod when turned down was a train wreck. My Avanti was as quiet as the Mrod at this power setting and my R7 was more quiet when they both were set for about 700 fps. The "two stage" trigger is unpredictable. It is more of a single long stage where you don't know where it will break. The R7 trigger is so much better. I guess I will have to get an Air Arms S500 if I want the real deal. If you are a hunter and just need a MOA of squirrel, rabbit or whatever, this is good enough. Takes 10 minutes from 0 to 2800 PSI with a hill pump.

    Things I liked:

I love just about everything with this gun. The weight feels about right for the size of the gun. The trigger is great. Everyone who I have shown this gun to has asked to find out where they can purchase one also. The rifle includes sling mounts and for me that was another great feature.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish I would have waited and purchased the wood stock version that just recently went on sale.

    What others should know:

If you are considering a PCP rifle purchase this gun should be at the top of your list. I would recommend purchasing at least one extra magazine, it makes it more fun to have 16 pellets ready to fire after the rifle is charged with air. Order lots of pellets and have a good source of compressed air because you will want to shoot this rifle all of the time. I used compressed nitrogen with my Marauder and it works great.

Reliable, easy to load, Quiet! Great gun for the $!

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe a different style trigger, but you get use to it pretty fast so no biggie.

    What others should know:

Great gun for a beginner or for a Pro on a budget, it doesn't get any better for the price. I can cut tree limbs (pencil size) at 30 yards no problem, soda cans at 70 yards all day.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate for squirrel head shots, don't require them, but sometimes that's all they give you. Most impressed with the quietness of the PCP. I have always used spring guns and the noise is completely gone, wished I had gotten this years ago.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing.

    What others should know:

The hand pump requires lots of effort, especially near the top end. I ordered a carbon fiber tank, but could not find anyone locally to fill it up, so I returned it. I'll look at other options to replace the hand pump.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is everything it's advertized to be.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have added some rubberized textrure to the stock, added an adjustable butplate, and would have added a color version of the owners manual with more pictrues and tuning information. Overall, these are pretty minor changes...

    What others should know:

My .177 shoots all pellets well out to 10 yards, all pelets tested over 8.2 grains well out to 25 yards, and Crosman Premeir Domed Pelets (10.9 grain ?)well out to 50 yards with .75" groups with no modifications to the gun. I have a Benjamin hand pump which averages 3 cycles per shot, and I get about 30 consistant shots from 2600psi to 1500psi.

    Things I liked:

    Accuracy Power Price Tunability

    Things I would have changed:

The stock shape in the front; the weight and the angle hurts my rist when I hold it for long.

    What others should know:

This gun is amazing. I bought it when it was on a package deal and a coupon, making the .25, a pump, good scope, and ammo all 680 bones. I went straight from a 177 springer to this gun, and man am I impressed. This thing hits like a train, and you can smack a penny from 100 yds. I'm no expert on pellet rifles, but these seem good to me. The only thing I plan on doing to this gun (after I already bought a bipod) is making it a bullpup. I think it is too long for my purposes, but don't be discouraged - this thing is a beast when it is this size. Overall, I love it, and I need more ammo.

    Things I liked:

Pyramid Air sales, returns and mailing were excellent. I received the Marauder synthetic in good condition and quickly. I first purchases a Hatsan 44 Long and when I received it, it was very heavy but thought I would shoot it anyway to see how it shot. It did not fire. I did everything including trying to dry fire it and nothing, so back it went. I did not want a Marauder based on all the complaints I have seen about changing POI, leaks, bent barrels, floating barrels etc. So I was ready to spend $1200 on a S510 when Jerry at PA suggested I as least try the Marauder. I could not be happier. 3 shots to site it in. Light, quiet and accurate. I'm glad I went for it. He could have easily sold me the more expensive rifle but knowing I really didn't want to, I took his suggestion. That to me says they are willing to work with the customer not just make a sale.

    Things I would have changed:

I love iron site shooting. Would like to see that option.

    What others should know:

I only have about 120 rounds through this rifle so far and love it. Can't wait to get out tomorrow and shoot.

Shoots 1/8-1/4 in groups consistently at 50 ft indoor target with the right pellet, and I found the best at this range to be JSB Match Exact Diablo Jumbo Heavy, 18.13 gr. Too windy out for 50 yd. tests. High quality gun, and great service from Pyramyd Air.

    Things I liked:

The raised check rest, the power, the look, the weight, the accuracy, the customizations, and the price. This is a very good entry to PCP rifles and air guns. I almost purchased the pistol but the reviews regarding the stock extender were not that great so I went for the full enchilada. I still may get the pistol. This rifle is quiet, somewhat, and very accurate. My neighbor heard the backstop getting hit and came over to shoot a few himself. He'll be the next one taking aim on a purchase. The trigger is very good, you can feel the stages and adjust if needed all are crisp. This is a very well thought out PCP.

    Things I would have changed:

Put open sights on the rifle. Scopes are good but sometimes you really want to have open sights. Also offer a bull pup conversions on the cheap ,some out there are almost the price of the gun.

    What others should know:

It is a bit loud depending on your area but is much quieter than other airguns. The sounds is equivalent to a small nail gun. The air gauge is off.. it reads higher than your fill. I have an accurate gauge on my tank and they gun reads high on a 3K fill.

What can I say. This gun can not be beat for the money. And it is made in the USA. Although I can find no markings on the gun where it is made. Why not? Shoots in a dime a 20 yds with my 6 power bug buster scope (bench rest). Bug busters Scopes are great. This is A quite gun, I am a back yard shooter .

    Things I would have changed:

    lighter. Include 2 mags.

    What others should know:

I should have gotten the 3x9 bug buster instead of 6 power. Its to strong for a gun this heavy (free standing).

    Things I liked:

This air gun is extremely accurate. It only took three shots to zero it in and after that it is consistently shooting through the ten ring every time. Where you place the cross hairs is where the pellet hits. My son took it out into the field and was consistently hitting small pieces of chalk at 50 yards.

    What others should know:

My son who is 5'10 and about 150 pounds is able to pump this gun up to 2600 psi with no problem.
