    Things I liked:

Everything even more now that I can use scope or my iron sights without changing anything! Will explain how? under Anything else you should know!

    Things I would have changed:

    Really nothing now!

    What others should know:

What I needed was A UTG 11mm. to weaver base plate and A JBU 1 inch high see through scope rings to fit the weaver base. Now I can use the Scope or iron sights which is great! They work perfect together. I have A big field of view and the iron sights line up perfect in the center. I hope this information helps the people that like to use both!! Also it only costed me under $25 including shipping.

(dang) left a dime hole in its head. Instint kill!! Would recommend a good buy.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy and weight. This is a very very good value gun.

    Things I would have changed:

I would get rid of the included scope and make it cheaper. I put the scope that came with this on a Daisy 880 and put a nice adjustable BSA scope on it.

    What others should know:

I just did a barrel cleaning, applied loctite on all the screws, lubed/polished the trigger, and then went shooting. After a little scope sighting and a tin of pellets to break it in, it shoots great.

    Things I liked:

the wood on this thing is great, really attractive wood very shiny. I'm 13 and I can cock it easily but the first cock was the worst as it always is on any brand new gun. The scope is okay a real annoyance too sight in plus it's not a tack driver but it gets the job done.

    Things I would have changed:

As I said the scope could be better and it would be really cool if they threw in a laser and flash light system to mount on the scope. The automatic safety is a real hassel but after shooting it for a few weeks you get used to taking the safety off. You need this scope or another scope because the open sights are a piece of junk one bump to the sight dial and your sights are off.

    What others should know:

This rifle is a true weapon of mass distruction, I've killed chipmunk, squrriel, gopher, birds and racoons. The only pellets I've tried are Crosman field hunting pellets, Crosman destoyers, Gamo pro magnums, Gamo gold pba pellets, Gamo master points, Benjamin pcp hollow points, and Jsb Predator polymags, I've had good luck with the destroyers as a target pellet. Gamo pro magnums are good for target shooting. Gamo gold pellets are good at short range hunting I've taken a racoon and a squrriel with them. Gamo master points are okay they have good penetration but the way the pellet is built it may jam into the gun if you don't scrape the extro lead off. The benjamin hollow points are my go to pellet for any type of hunting I've taken a Racoons with them also squrriels gophers and chipmunks. The predator polymags are a good choice too I havn't done much hunting with them or penetration tests but i know from past experiance they are a good pellet i have taken a squrriel out at about 50 yards with this gun. I use the .177 all the time I havn't used the .22 yet but the .177 is all I need for what I'm using it for. Get this gun It's great for protecting your bird feeders or getting rid of pesky rodents or a fun day of plinking cans or what ever this is the gun for you plus it's inexspensive and fun to shoot too.

    Things I liked:

This is a complete steal shoots .14.3 crosman premier in 3/4 inch groups one big hole in the .22 chronys at 760 consistantly with the crosmans and 850 fps with the RWS lighter pellet 11.9 I think at around 18 ft-lbs and this accuracy you cant go wrong with the .22

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger takes some break in and adjustment

    What others should know:

If ya want a .177 go with the big cat but if you want a real nice hunting rifle go with this one and use the .22 barrel. Just wrap the screws especially the barrel screw in teflon tape it cost about .99 cents at any hardware store and tighten them as tight as you can mine has over 1000 pellets downrange and I checked it and the screws are still as tight as when I first tightened them also clean this guns barrel when you first get it.I almost bought another one at this price but chinese guns are pot luck they say but I have yet to get a bad one from the old B-1 B-3 and the crosman phantom is chinese and that gun shot 1350 and broke in to a steady 1005 FPS in the .177 just a tad heavy but I got used to it its one of my go-to guns with open sights but my all around favorite .177 is the big cat ive got 2 of them one metal trigger and the other plasic which shoots very crisp right out of the box

    What others should know:

This is a great value and if you need a good reliable pellet gun for hunting or plinking and don't care if it gets scratched in the brush the BUY THIS GUN.It loves the crosman destroyers.I sanded the the gun down to get to the natural wood and stained it properly so it doesn't look so cheap

    Things I liked:

'I've got a walther Falcon Hunter,, gamo cfx, Benjamin np trail. Gamo Big cat. Crossman Phantom, crossman 1077,Gamo Recon ,and after a break in This is my favorite rifle and it cost less than any in its power range I get consistant 750 to 780 FPS on the chrony with 14.3 Pellets and its dead on and powerful Thats 17.85 FT_LBS or more making this a magnum rifle by definition of being over 14.5 FT-LBS Muzzle velocity

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing takes a while to tweak the trigger set it on the soft side,

    What others should know:

Cant say enough about this rifle .Choose your caliber and put teflon tape on the barrel screw then torque it up. I chose the .22 cant get one at this price in a fixed barrel When I first got the gun it would get loose after twenty or so shots but since the teflon tape ive shot well over 1500 and when checked the barrel is still tight . DOnt be afraid to get it tight.I think the tape dampers the shock and the csrew will not break loose like with lock tightAlso if I cant get or afford the .22 ammo I have the option to switch to the .177. This rifle is made very well and if I didn't know better id swear it was a German version. A real sleeper and ignored due to the chinese mfg.

    Things I liked:

good, heavy weight. the dual caliber feature. the stock is finished very well. the rubber butt plate is a nice feature too. and the auto safety is a nice add on.

    Things I would have changed:

make it come with a better scope.

    What others should know:

scope is total crud ( in my opinion) when shooting a .22 daisy wad cutter pellet it will go through 1/2" plywood. it is very powerful and has the recoil of a .22LR i would not recommend it to smaller kids...

Price, dual caliber, much quieter than a gamo series.I have the big cat and the CFX,Traditional springer sound, not a thrummmmmp.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic trigger, front and rear sights.Side to side play in trigger.

    What others should know:

Clean the barrels before shooting. They are oiled to prevent rust. This is a great buy for the price. The gun is well made and shoots very well even with the plastic sights and trigger.Time will tell if they hold up.I have shot apx 50 pellets 25 of each .Seems to have a little more FPS than the gamo but I must say I dont have a chrony..Overall a toss up between the Big cat and the RS1.

    Things I liked:

This gun i Sturdy very well made and i love this thing. I have only had this gun 3 weeks and have killed 3 squrriels 1 gopher and a very large bird!!!! It has good long range power and it loves heavy pellets especially the benjamin pcp 10.5 grain pellets. I love the scope it's nice and powerful but not too powerful for thick woods the scope isn't sited to the dot but it's sighted in close enough to hit within an inch or two of what your aming at.

    Things I would have changed:

I think the automatic safety is a good safety tool but it's annoying to have to take it off safe every time you shoot especially when your chasing a rodent of any sort.

    What others should know:

This is a very satisfactory gun that will totally destroy animals and targets but you must get heavy pellets about 8.5 grains or more or it won't shoot as well.

    Things I liked:

the stock has a very nice Finnish and has been made really well. it has a hefty feel in your hands and is powerful. the rubber butt plate/pad helps to keep it on your shoulder and improves comfort greatly.

    Things I would have changed:

make the front fiber-optic sight implanted better in the sight post. other than that its a great gun.

    What others should know:

DO NOT change the barrels unless you have time to re-sight it in. the scope it comes with is a total piece of you know what... and its a large gun and shoots at over 1000 fps so it will get rid of any pest problems you have provided you can hit the little buggers...

    Things I liked:

This gun is a real treat. The dual calibers are fun to interchange. Seems to be a real value for the money. I have put around 400 rounds through this rifle and am getting comfortable with it. The scope is nice too.

    Things I would have changed:

I have owned this rifle for about a week and put 400 rounds through it while I was waiting for a shipment of proper lubes to do a tune up because the gun didn't feel smooth and the spring was twangy. When I pulled the spring and piston, I was surprised to find almost no lube in the action assembly. I know there isn't supposed to be much, but there was almost none. Make sure there is enough lube in gun.

    What others should know:

My only previously experience with an adult air rifle was a friend's RWS Diana 34 which I shot a few times. This rifle out of the box wasn't quite as smooth or powerful. After a tune up of smoothing off the rough edges and a lube job, this rifle rocks! I don't have chronograph numbers to go by, but it feels sounds , and shoots much stronger. After putting about 40 more rounds through this rifle, I am impressed with the improvement that the lube job provided. If you are thinking of buying this combo, I would recommend this rifle.

    Things I liked:

Solid made gun with wooden stock, nice finish. Cocked with a nice effort. Don't know how it shoots from a bench. Was a gift to my brother and his son. Was a round when it was being shot off hand. Sounded like it has a good punch and don't have a real loud report. Shot alright for off hand and out of the box. They'll have to get a good rest and shoot it in. Rifling in the barrel looked nicely cut. From what I seen it should shoot well. Once the right pellet is found.

    Things I would have changed:

Can't really think of anything. If I had to nit pick I'd say the latching mechanism. It seemed a little on the light side to me but it does the trick.

    What others should know:

Pyramyd Air is a great company to order from. Had a problem with the first RS1 and they made it right hassle free , painlessly and in a very timely manner.

this gun is awesome!! im 41 yrs old and have been shooting since i was 7. this gun is fantastic for the money...well...its just plain fantastic period. I WILL TELL YOU THOUGH... if you are serious about accuracy and consistency you absolutely MUST LOCKTITE all of your screws before starting to shoot!!! remove the plastic covers on the stock and remove those also and locktite them and then glue te covers back on. pick a barrel that you want to use (i chose the .177 barrel and it shoots awesome) and locktite the barrel screw in very tightly. also all ot the scope mount screws and the screw to the rear of the trigger. you must take the screws out completely, one at a time, and put a drop of regular formula locktite glue on them and then tiighten them very tight....without stripping the screws. after you do that wait at least 12 hours. THEN YOU ARE READY TO GO!! if you dont do this to your gun first, it will never stay accurate for more than 30 shots or so, no matter how tight you think you have the screws. ANYWAY, one more thing...the best pellets i have found for this gun are crossman premier hollow points. at 20 yards i shoot a 1/2 inch group consistently...and at 50 yards a 2 inch pattern consistently with no wind. AT 80 YARDS I HAVE HIT A COKE CAN 16 OUT OF 20 TIMES CONSISTENTLY!!! NOW THAT IS SOME GOOD SHOOTING!! this is a quality beeman gun and very accurate if you take the steps listed here... good shooting!!

    Things I liked:

Dual Caliber, wood stock, and scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger, it is so bad it throws off my shot. I have to use Kentucky windage to compensate for it. I gave it a 3 because of the horrible trigger, quality gun but crappy trigger. Buy the RS2 it comes with an adjustable trigger unless you are a gunsmith and want a project gun.

    What others should know:

Use plumbers thread tape on set screw for barrel so that it doesn't come lose while firing. If you switch barrels you will have to sight it in again. I saw on a pellet gun forum where someone did a mod to this airgun to change out the trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

trigger pull is sorta heavy. get rid of the plastic trigger guard for a steel one. stock is to thick in the grip.

    What others should know:

youngster would have a hard time cocking the gun as it is stiff. scope is kinda so so, what do you expect for an air gun though.
