The looks of the air gun is nice. It has a a nice amount of "firepower" to the gun, having a little trouble sighting the gun in.

Fun Gun, especially for the price. I like the lever action feel.

Got this to have some fun. Went shooting and it felt amazing.

I like air guns but I love westerns and I wanted a gun that could appease both. It's a pretty comfortable gun, really nice looking (for an air gun) but what I love most about it is the mix of form and function. It's really a great looking gun with great accuracy and feel. Another plus is the quality material it's made of: cast iron and sturdy plastic. It's comfortable, it shoots great, and it's one good lookin gun for a great price.

This gun is one of my favorites the FPS on this is crazy and the color is cool best air gun I own.

I purchased a cowboy 1886 lets just say its funn for adults an kids out having fun in the summer highly recommended

Do I wish the stock was even a cheap wood instead of plastic? Yes, but all things considering the plastic doesn't look too bad and it as sturdy or sturdier than most cheap soft woods. Here's the thing, this air rifle is metal where it needs to be to keep things reliable and sturdy and when you consider the price in my opinion it is a pretty nice rifle and I can't complain about its accuracy. Is it in the same class as those air rifles that cost more than an quality center fire rifle? No, but for the money I think its a darn good rifle. Yep I would buy it again...

I never owned a BB gun in my life until I decided to try out one since gun ammo costs have went up and hard to get in stores. I saw this beauty out of all the other BB rifles sold that day as the wild west style designs of guns I love the most. I saw how far the pellets can fire according to the box so was sold. When I got home with it, it amazed me how powerful this rifle fires for only BB's! I was shooting at wood and metal targets and was awed by how it can penetrate from 50 to 100 feet distances. I also liked how it can hold a decent amount of BB's in the loading chamber for the design so definitely can have fun with this rifle for long time! This air rifle would have had five stars from me but rated it four stars instead because I wish the guns were made in the USA instead of China. This is my only pet peeve but for the cost I paid it is worth it. Also make sure the seals for the rifle work more efficient so the air pumping will stay much stronger over time I noticed the pumping action gets weaker. Thanks Barra for bringing quality guns and rifles back, will be a returning customer so hope this review will be noticed! PS: If the new models will be US made, the costs will be worth it I would pay more for guns made in America. Help bring American ingenuity back!

We love this starter gun for my son. He has learned a lot, aiming reloading and having a lot of target shooting.

I am 50 years old and grew up watching western movies and always wanted to be a cowboy as a kid. So off top what I really like about the Barra 1866 is the feel of a really good looking western style rifle, and that gold accent on it is what attracted me to it. After shooting it, it has quickly become my favorite to shoot. It is very powerful and shoots so strong and accurate, it make me feel like a real cowboy lol. I sure which I had it as a kid. What I'd like for individuals to know before they purchase it is that the Barra 1866 is put together really well and will not regret purchasing it one bit. When they say do not pump it more than 10 time, believe it! Yes it shoots that good and is worth every penny. The Barra 1866 is one that you will enjoy shooting for many years to come.

The nostalgia attached to it!!! I feel like Annie Oakley, John Wayne, Or even Dick Cheney hahaha It's heavy, not light cheap plastic bits, it's got a replica real deeling!

I like the weight and look of the old Henry rifle no dislikes so far

A great gun that we got my little brother for his birthday,he loves it and its a great gun for him to learn gun safety and how to act around firearms.gun shoots every accurate and is a blast to use,but over all no complaints

This is the best air gun I have ever purchased. I am amazed at how accurate it is. I really enjoy the look and feel of the gun. It would make a great gift for someone.
