What I like about this gun is that it feels very original and it's an amazing weapon to use when practicing you aiming, I would definitely recommend this to other people

I love the 1866! I am an avid shooter of many different guns. The Barra 1866, is sized just right, handles great, shoots accurately, reloads easy, and most of all, it's really fun to shoot! I have three grandkids and we all have either a BB gun or pellet gun now. Thank you Barra for making this air rifle. My complements on the design.

Well done. I purchased this rifle as a training aid for my wife and kids to teach the fundamentals of firearm safety, shooting skill building and some good clean fun. With the rise in ammunition, plus it's ease of use we have found ourselves shooting now nightly for hours. Kids can't get enough of it and neither can my wife. To top it off the rifle has a beautiful look to it. I am a cowboy shoot kind of guy and love that it sets in my shoulder just as comfortable as my .45 colt lever rifle. Great job everyone.

I bought this gun for my son to grow into. I took it out to show him how to plink some cans. Outside with the air gun it took me back to easier days. This gun is fun fast and feels like the real deal. Needless to say we have two in the house now. Barra I appreciate you for helping me to bond with my boy like my dad did me. This gun is absolutely beautiful wood work is amazing shoots so straight and fuctions so we'll I absolutely love it and I would tell anyone to buy one

Just got this BB gun today and its amazing. I also have 760 pumpmaster BB Gun but i have to say that I prefer this 1866 Rifle more.

It's a multiple pump BB/pellet gun… It looks good, And that's about the best thing it has going for it. It is going to take some dialing in to get it to shoot accurately and that's always going to be a vertical variable based upon if you gave it the full 10 pumps or not. I have to say I'm not really a fan of that kind of model. The box doesn't clearly and legibly tell you that it's a pump action style, so I take issue with that. I don't really enjoy that there's no switchback lever to allow you to shoot either BBs or pellets. If you wanna shoot pellets, you have to make sure all the BBS are out of the chamber-according to the directions. And at that you only get to load one pellet at a time – which mind you, with that pull back chamber loader assembly - is not the most practical process. It should've come with a pair of tweezers to do this surgical procedure. Maybe I've been spoiled by the auto loader on my gamo swarm bone collector. Other than that it's fun to shoot. And there you have it… My liverwurst sandwich of critique between the two bread slices of commendation.

Rifle looks and preforms amazing. Good quality rifle worth alot more than what you pay for it. Definitely going to by other guns from this company.

Right out of the box was impressed with the looks of this air rifle. The only disappointment was it has plastic stock and forearm which is probably for weight for a kid. Would have liked for it to be real wood but nonetheless still nice .

Best air rifle I have ever received. It really packs a punch and is great for things like squirrels.

We unboxed one of these on our YouTube channel and we were blown away by how beautiful it looked. As soon as i took it out of the box it reminded me of the Old Henry Golden Boy Rifle. The octagon barrel gave the rifle an antique look that we fell in love with. its easy to pump. even my 6 year old could pump this on his own. the 1866 is by far one of the most beautiful Air Rifles we own. thank you Barra for making such a beautiful piece. it can surly make on feel like a cowboy

Bought this gun for my son, it's his first bb/pellet rifle he loves it I love it it shoots great, pretty accurate for a pellet gun and the brass work on it is outstanding!!

Seems to be of good quality for the price its for the backyard or even little pest like rodents

It is heavier than any other air gun that I have had in the past. Doesn't feel like some of the other plastic air guns on the market. Looks great as well

Bought a Berra Cowboy today. Tried it this afternoon. Yeah, walked out into the woods in a few inches of snow to play with it. Great shooting instrument. (I hesitate on referring to it as a toy.) I've been eyeing it for about 6 months, but don't have a bb/pellet gun in my collection, so hesitated this long. Why I'm not sure after trying it, because it's great fun. Thanks for making a quality instrument, folks. Well done!

This is a great rifle! The only thing I would change is the plastic stock. Other than that, this rifle is awesome. I use it to shoot cans and bottles in my backyard so this provides hours of fun and enjoyment!
