the only reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars is the plastic stocks, which i expected anyway, but everything was so pretty.. has a great look and feel, love the variable pump so i can plink in the garage during the winter, and still control sparrow population when i need to..

The 1866 air rifle put a smile on my son's face right away when he opened his birthday present, saying "Wow"!. I had just made a BB gun range for him to try it out and he really liked learning how to use it and being impressed with how accurate and satisfying it was to use. I recommend that anyone who likes western movies and wants a rifle that feels and looks good to purchase the 1866. You'll want to keep using it.

For the money the gun was a good deal and it works fairly well.

The gun is not only one of the nicest looking BB guns I own but I also like the weight of it. The only thing I wish is that the wood were real but at this price point, I think its realistic enough.

It's a well made Rifle. It feels like a Quality made rifle in your hands. It doesn't feel cheap like other brands that I've had in the past. shoots straight, looks good. I had planned on giving it to my grandson, but I'm going to keep it and buy another for him. So far there is nothing I dislike about it.

I loved the authentic look and feel of the 1866 model. I honestly felt like a little kid again when purchasing it. I couldn't wait to get home to enjoy my BB gun. I enjoy the look and feel of the rifle. It's authenticity, the look and design are very enjoyable.

It was easy enough to sight in. Really good shooting pellets. The bbs were a little less accurate but I have been looking for a good shooting pellets gun so this worked out.

Honestly and truthfully I gotta I love my Barra 1866 cowboy series pellet gun, it is easy to load, packs a nice punch and is pretty on point accurate. I gotta say it is a well made, fun to shoot pellet gun would highly recommend if you want a old cowboy style pellet gun and a good low cost price.

price at the store was reasonable and after opening the beauty, it shot like nothing I've seen prior the gun shoots straight and had no features id consider bad or defective overall the best air rifle I've purchased so far .

I bought the 1866 cowboy series pump Airport rifle. It shoots far. It shoots straight. And it shoots with some power. Can easily go through thin metal. Great gun

I love the look and feel of the gun it is real smooth action well pumping and the real feel of shooting an old lever action gun it really surprised with the grouping of bbs I shot through it I have not shot any pellets in it as of yet but thats my next weekend past time I really appreciate the gun and it looks real cool in my gun cabinet thank you once again I am very pleased with it.

Avid, lifetime gun owner and hunter,didn't expect a whole lot because of the price point,plain and simple the most important aspects of a firearm is reliability and accuracy, this little gun is fun makes me feel like a kid again, excellent work Barra, couldn't be more pleased highly recommend

This Air rifle is a great value very accurate from 30 yards away hits small target with great accuracy highly recommend for older teens to young adult.

I recently purchased the Barra B1282 rifle and was surprisingly pleased to find it extremely accurate and powerful. Just 4 pumps and I was able to bring down some of my pesky squirrels in the yard. I can just imagine what it could do with 10 pumps. Really enjoy the accuracy of the sights.

Bought this instead of a video game that I will not name because I might get into trouble. Nice packaging. It has weight to it, so it doesn't feel like a toy. Make sure you follow the loading instructions. It has a lot of power, watch your backstop. This has supplied me with hours of fun, and way less expensive than shooting a real gun. Looks cool too!

So I bought the Sportsman 900 item number B1282 just to have some fun in my backyard and man this thing is amazing, easy to use, and user friendly! I will definitely buy more from this company in the future.
