I bought this air rifle for my son because he out grew his Red Ryder. It looks beautiful and is incredibly accurate. Even with one to two pumps it packs plenty of punch for cans and bottles . Super happy with this purchase

It’s a really nice BB gun especially if you’re a first time user and it’s really powerful

I now own a piece of history today. The Barra 1866 sure puts the Red Ryder to...the 1866 is 4x more powerful too.. A Straight shooter with Power, Accuracy, Heaviness, Built-Well, and Good Looks. Love the Gold! A Great Purchase and a Five Star Rating from Me!

I love the look of the gun and how it shoots but I wish it was heavier in the stock :)

Straight out the box, the gun has shot accuracy, and strongly. I like the design and the ability to shoot both bbs and pellets. My only complaint is the stock is plastic along with the gold. It would feel more quality and realistic if it had wood. 👍

i dislike the reload but aside from that everything’s great

The Barra 1866 has a good look and feel while handling. It appears to be manufactured with a good quality control process. The octogen barrel is a nice addition for a BB/Pellet gun. I never pumped it over 8 times and it had plenty of power with both BB's and pellets. The sight adjustment was straight forward and once I fired a few rounds, it was hitting a good pattern on the target with both. The BB's were easy to load and use for continuous shooting. The pellets are a little more difficult to land in the loading chamber but I got the hang of it after a few tries. The trigger pull is very long which has a tendency to make you pull off the bullseye if you aren't careful. All in all, this is a nice addition for your air rifle enjoyment.

Love the gun,and the estedicts of old west like the Henry or Winchester that couldn't afford,shoots good so far, have hanging in living room on custom deer rack, thanks Phil

It’s great killed a squirrel with it one shot dropped it love the gun had for almost a month

Straight out of the box the gun was looking noice, goldish finish and smelling like fresh lubricant, but of course looks aren’t everything so I had to pop off a few shots and had to see performance. Minutes turn into hours as I’m mapping targets, and taking out certain vermin problems in the process an it’s only been 7 hours out the box. Hell, even my nephew was having fun using it definitely will be having More vermin sessions with this lucky thing all in all 10/10 would shoot again.

Amazed to find this quality at a big box store. High quality and comfortably weighted like a true fire arm. No cheap plastic feel here!

I love it. For the price it’s much cooler than a daisy and it shoots straight. Easy to pump, sights are ok but work when you get used to them, and it looks great. I would recommend this at the price point.

I love the style and weight of my airgun. It is the perfect air rifle for my son he loves it and excited too shoot it every time and helps us to reconnect agin. I have nothing bad to say and recommend the 1866 air rifle to anyone.

pretty fun easy shooting going to teach some of my loved ones proper gun safety and shooting technique and this is an adequate affordable way to do that. two things i have noticed however are the clunky faux wooden grip with somehow the subsequent stock remaining thin. Another thing ive noticed is that pellets get stuck in the barrel while trying to leave the "breach" bbs work just fine however.
