Worth the money

It's light weight, seems to be durable. Didnt have to adjust anything as far as the trigger pull or the air regulator. Put a scope on it and zeroed right in. It has held true with every shot. I definitely recommend this product for just practice, or hunting small game.vi even bagged a ground hog with it thats been destroying my barn floor. At 47 yards it sat it down in its tracks. Very pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely nothing.

Got this Venturi about two months ago. I love it. Have a hand pump for it (4 uncles) and it works great. I haven't shot it a bunch. Did lower the regulator down to about 1200 psi and have the spring turned in one rotation? from all the way backed out. I'm just shooting thirty feet away with crosman hp's and it is pretty much dead on. I haven't been able to shoot it further yet so I can't say how it does at longer ranges. So far it's been great. It's the first PCP I've used and I am really impressed. Probably going to put latex caulk in the stock to get rid of the hollow sound of it.

For the price, I don't think anything needs to be changed. It isn't a high dollar gun and I don't expect it to have the best of everything on it. It does what it's supposed to do well at a reasonable price.

I'd like to thank Shannon R with customer support. About six weeks after ordering, one of the magazines randomly fell apart while in the gun. I sent a picture of the cracked clear part of the magazine to customer service, and was immediately responded to and sent a new magazine with zero hassle, I had the new magazine less than a week later. Didn't have to do anything but write the one email and it was taken care of. That's how it should be done, and that's exactly how it was done. Thanks Shannon!

OK ......Ive had this air rifle about a month now, its only my second PCP (my other is/was a gamo urban 22) so im no expert but i can say this gun has put a smile on my face many times lol. I consider myself a slightly better than average shooter after running over 30,000 pellets through various air rifles. I have been able to shoot about quarter sized groups consistently at 60 yards even with moderate winds. I really like this avenger (25 cal) a lot. I have a budget scope on it (even though i have a hawke) and it works great. i did bite the bullet and got an electric pump on ebay pretty cheap, because im almost 60 and im not killin myself with my hand pump. you can set the reg low and not pump it all the way to 300 bar and still have a blast but i wanted to be able to have full power potential.

OBVIOUSLY everyone comments on the synthetic stock .....yea well fill it or pack it or wrap it or change it ....... they needed to cut cost somewhere .....im fine with it. the guts are what count to me anyway. theyve made improvements over the few years its been out. hats off to air venturi for listening to their customers.

MINE likes the H&N BARRACUDAS, the BARRACUDA HUNTERS, JSB EXACT KING 25.39 And believe it or not shoots the benjamin discovery pellets nicely too which is great because they're only a nickle a piece. Its not crazy about the crow mags, barracuda hunter extremes or the field target trophy ....... the jsb exact king heavys and hades were decent also but i need to test/tune the gun to them more at a later date. Ive added the donnyfl to mine plus a moderator and a barrel harmonic dampening system ($30 on ebay) easy to install (they have a stock barrel to shroud "buffer" about 4 inches from the end of the barrel and its decent) ...... so i may be getting slightly better accuracy than the stock guns BUT this thing was shooting great right out of the box with the reg set at 2900 .......and POWER? ....... IT was blasting THROUGH 2X10s i had as my back stop ...... please be careful and turn the reg down lol. ......dont wait ....get one ....youll be happy!

what it offers best air gun for the money shoots well. there is no better gun in this price range. You get a lot with this rifle for the money. For what you get with this rifle you will pay over $700 with other rifle brands. Every one I know who owns this rifle loves it.

I would love to see a .30 cal .Only comes in .17,.22,.25

What's not to like, the price is Awesome, the rifle is Accurate, it's fully adjustable! not much more to say.

Accuracy right out of the box. Although it's plastic, the workmanship appears to be top notch. I like the safety switch overall, the cocking handle, and the trigger. In essence, I like most everything about the gun. I did get to purchase it recently at the $299 sale price and although I've read a ton of good reviews I was quite surprised at what you get for the money. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering dipping their toes into the PCP world.

I would like to see a rubber buffer pad on the Fire side of the safety so that I can "click" it off Safe without having a loud CLICK for the prey to hear. Yes, I can move it from Safe to Fire with a couple of fingers, but I would prefer to flick it into place with just my thumb.

be careful in scope mounting, as with the magazine on the top/side of the rifle, it has a tendency to require careful mounting of the scope as to not interfere.

Good luck trying to tune it. Throw hammer spring turns out the window. It binds halfway through. Just fiddle fart around with it until you achieve the velocity you want and hope that regulator creep is at a minimum.

If I wasn't retired on Social Security I would go for a more expensive gun. This seems to be good enough for plinking paper and backyard pests.

Having purchased the Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup and having positive experiences with the Air Venturi brand I was a big fan. When the Avenger rifle became available at the best price since it's release I couldn't say no. The cocking mechanism is easy to locate and reasonably smooth. This unit is a 25 cal which hits really hard and is extremely accurate after sighting in. The ability to externally adjust the regulator is a plus. Only having the gun a few days I'm sure there'll be more things I will discover as time goes on. If you want to add a bi-pod there is a mold in rail section under the front stock.

The picatinny rail sections as short and limit scope placement especially if using a long scope. Only had the gun a few days and that's my only observation to date.

I found that heavier pellets shoot the best groups. I started with five different weights and styles since I have another 25cal. Production quality. Thing leaks out in a week. I've replaced all the gaskets (some twice) and it still doesn't hold air.

Accuracy, balance, quality and value! I know there may well be some units with issues (mostly regulator creep) but this rifle had none. It is exceptionally accurate and well balanced. I did have regulator creep with my first Bullpub version, which I feel lacks the balance of the longer rifle version (this one) but this rifle has been perfect. I covered the rear of the stock with a camo wrap, improving its texture and appearance, but have made no further modifcations with the exception of adjusting the regulator pressure - it shipped with a 2600 psi setting which I adjusted to 2000 psi. It has proven to be incredibly accurate with an assortment of pellets, which I found quite surprising. I must also applaud Pyramid Air. They ship prompty, in well protected packaging, and offer amazing custom service.

Each rfle should come with a note giving the winning lottery numbers for that week. : - )
