I have wanted a Bullpup for quite a while but couldnt justify the high price most makers were asking. The Air Venturi Avenger Bullpup check all my boxes and the price was within my budget. It came regulated, the stock has pre-molded rail and storage for rotary clips, a long scope rail is provided. The adjustable trigger is very good. I have multiple .22 & .25 PCPs so I went with a .177 to change things up. After a fun week of pellet testing it is shooting single hole groups indoors at 50 feet. Waiting for the weather to break so I can get to the range. Really love this gun.
Things I would have changed:I find the side lever acceptable but agree a more forward position would be nice.
What others should know:Great value for the money !

I like the new improved barrel mount being separated from the bottom Picatinny bipod mount. It's a well-thought-out design bullpup but needs a bag rider on the buttstock for bench rest shooting. I like the way PA repaired my regulator problem after I had to send it back. Great repair Matt!
Things I would have changed:Put a bag rider on the bullpup and a lower scope rail. A better cheek riser would be nice too.
What others should know:After my repair of the unstable regulator, I turned the regulator to 2000psi and hammer spring1/2 turn in from out. I'm shooting Premier hp at 929 average fps, ES9and Div2. That brings my fps to 847 with the 18.13-grain pellets and Div1. I fill only to 240 bar. The Avenger bullpup is a great shooter and should improve once I get more led in the barrel. I have the Donny extender on the barrel also. Watch for those two plastic plugs on the buttstock pad, I removed mine because they kept coming off.

Wow! Accurate, prettily hand pump friendly.. compact and fun.
Things I would have changed:The magazines are cheap feeling and flimsy. I use the single shot tray. I also would pay more for a better stock.
What others should know:I tried all my .177 pellets. From 7- over 10 grains. All accurate. Amazing!

Great little rifle for the price. Easy to adjust regulator and hammer. Extremely accurate. I have the .22 and if tuned down, it will shoot even shoot the cheap stuff like CPHP's extremely well. Dime size grouping at 50 yards. Huge shot count if tuned down as well. I'm only filling to 4000psi and I'm getting 70 to 80 shots before falling off the regulator. This is an EXCELLENT rifle if your are just getting into PCP or are looking for a great 'cheap' rifle to add to your arsenal.
Things I would have changed:The trigger! The trigger is horrible!!!!! They really need to put a halfway decent two stage trigger in this rifle. Out of the box the trigger has way too much travel and mushy. You can adjust the trigger to make it tolerable.
What others should know:To adjust the trigger you have to completely remove the trigger travel adjustment screw and remove 4 washers and then the screw will adjust the travel. The manual does NOT tell you this for some odd reason.

I like the Avenger rifle so much that I have four of them. One in each caliber and the Bullpup in .25.
Things I would have changed:I would have an option to remove the cheek rest. For me it is way too high. I will probably have to use a riser even with UTG high scope rings to get proper eye relief
What others should know:This is a placeholder review for me. I have not been able to shoot this rifle just yet. If my other three Avengers are any indication then this one should shoot just fine.

Fairly compact good for pest work or just anytime hunting. Love that it already has 3 picatinny rails on end. I bought the bullpup in both 22 cal and 25. For the price of the two I got has more features on it then guns twice the price.
Things I would have changed:So far no complaints.
What others should know:I've been using Aeswede aftermarket magazines makes this gun awesome for pest work.

very light, comfortable and very precise
Things I would have changed:the truth is that for me there is nothing to change, it is a very small and very precise rifle
What others should know:It is a rifle that is worth its price, you will not regret buying it

I like the shortness with the bullpup style. Easy to manage and quite light for a pcp. The regulator seems to really make the shots consistent. It shoots really well in 25 cal.
Things I would have changed:The trigger needs a longer screw to take all of the travel out. I seem to have a little trouble seeing through the scope at some angles even with high rings.
What others should know:I think for the money getting a regulated gun is a real plus. Quality is really good for the money.

came with 1000 psi in tank, made some weird wheezing and clunking noises the first few pumps, then i remembered to cock the gun , after that it filled smoothly with 200 pumps on my g9. reg was set at 2400 from factory, after 1 mag it fell to 2050 . i think the extreme cold was to blame , after 5 mags i went back inside and the reg went back to 2400. went back out the next day,not as cold. after 1 mag reg was 2000 still had 2800 in the tank. 3more mags reg at 1900, tank 2400. 3 mags later reg was 1700 ,tank 1800. 130 shots! bullvenger rocks !
Things I would have changed:need way to put iron sights on
What others should know:you will need high scope rings. mags are fragile and seem to have first round fliers. GREAT GUN!

I like the Bullpup model. I pre-ordered it and was anxious to get it. Pyramid sent mine asap. It works well so far, only been a week.
Things I would have changed:Nothing yet.
What others should know:It is a little loud for backyard.

I bought the .25 cal bulpup. I'm a left-handed shooter and I was worried about being able to shoot this rifle. NO PROBLEM! I had to install some tall scope mounts but no big deal. It performs just like the long Avenger but I think it's quieter. I'm shooting it just as it came out of the box, 48 shots on the regulator. Having the storage for the magazines in the stock is very convenient, makes for quick reloads. It likes the JSB 25.39s, H&N Crow Magnums and H&N Barracuda Hunter Extremes. I'm an old guy and It's putting pellets through the same hole at 25 yards. Great rifle.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:It's OK for left-handed shooters

Out of box, I managed less than half an inch groupings at 15 yards (small place). It is a decent looking gun. Not loud, 85-90 db. No leaks over 45 hours just sitting there.
Things I would have changed:Side lever cocking be better on the left side and scope rail be lower.
What others should know:My first experience with PCP. It was not difficult to pump it to full pressure.

Regulator, 4,350 psi reservoir, two magazine stow away in the stock, excellent trigger pull straight out of the box, well balanced, rests nicely on my shoulder, most accurate and consistent PCP I have owned. Also, they upgraded the plastic stock that many complained about, on the rifle and it feels nice. Bye Bye hollow plastic. Additional things you should know. This bullpup Avenger Is, at the time of this review, more accurate than my Avenger rifle AND the rifle is very accurate. Neither rifle experiences random flyers. My Avenger rifle regulator has been set at 2100 psi since I bought it and I think I turned the hammer spring in, one turn. It is shooting 25gr. JSB King Diabolos at an average of 820fps. This Avenger bullpup with the same reg setting is shooting an average of 889, 25 shot string, with STD Dev of 17.4, off of a rest at 20yards hole in hole. I have not touched the hammer spring adjustment. Another improvement is the forward rail. Very solid. Just buy it!!!!
Things I would have changed:The picatinny rail looks like an afterthought to me, but it is metal and rock solid. I mounted my Athlon Argos BTR 6-24X50 first focal plane scope with a set of high mounts and my eye lands comfortably on the center. I'm going to try a lower mount height once I buy them, because I'm getting a one inch lower impact point when going from 20 yards to 10 yards. I want to see if getting the scope closer to the barrel will make that difference smaller AND see if the bullpup is still comfortable to shoot. The other two bullpups I ordered and returned, required me to do some optical gymnastics to get my eye where it need to be to shoot. I may find the lower rings will put me back in that condition. FYI: I didn't return the bullpups because of that issue. On the flip side of that thought, I will probably start carrying the pup, using the rail as a handle. Trust me, it is hard to find anything to complain about. The baffle at the end of the barrel. Thanks for trying, still not backyard friendly.
What others should know:I purchased the Avenger rifle in mid 2020 and have really enjoyed that rifle. I have been looking for an affordable bullpup because I love the way they look and carry. I ordered this Avenger bullpup within thirty minutes of seeing that Air Venturi was releasing one. I normally like to shoot an air rifle for a few months before reviewing but this bullpup should have the same quality, or better, than my Avenger rifle. If anything goes wrong on this bullpup I will add it to this review. Some odd things I did find: 1) The regulator arrived set at 2100psi. I thought they were all shipped at 2900psi. 2) The trigger pull on this bullpup was super low. I don't have a way to measure it but the first time I pulled the trigger I jumped after it fired... Compared to the rifle it feels like there is no resistance. The rule of thumb is that a bullpup trigger will be a little wonky because of the added linkage required to get the job done. I added a DFL Ronin moderator and that quieted the bark down.

Balances over the pistol grip, it has storage for 2 magazines built into the stock. The adjustable regulator is a game changer in this price airgun. It is very accurate with heavier JSB pellets. The trigger is light, kind of spongy, but it is predictable. It is much shorter than the rifle avenger.
Things I would have changed:Move the side lever forward to over the pistol grip.
What others should know:The rifle fills to 4351 psi, but has a small reservoir, hand pumping is possible, but a small compressor will make your life much easier.
You can set the regulator to a lower pressure band get the same performance as the factory settings, but you will get more shots per fill.
It can be shot left handed, the side lever will just touch your chin.

Synthetic stock is better quality and feel.
Things I would have changed:Too soon to say but do feel the scope rail is a bit high.
What others should know:So far shooting very well, as good as my wood stock avenger but getting good sight picture is different on this bull pup. I have a feeling I will adjust. Anyone expecting lightweight will be disappointed. This one feels like my wood stock in weight.
