Things I liked:

The rifle is ACCURATE. The rifle is shooting one hole groups at 50 yards no problem. I am getting SUB MOA at 100 yards where I hold my 100 yard ASA Sanctioned BR competitions at FSA. The beechwood stock is very nice. The form, fit, and function of the gun are great. Everything cycles smoothly, and has been getting smoother over time. I will shoot it in a 50 & 100 BR Competition to see how it does. Plinking shotgun shells, .22 caliber and 9mm casings out to 75 yards no problem. The gun feels solid and of quality. I am shooting the JSB 33.95 grain MK II at around 851 FPS. The gun is super quiet with a Donny FL. I am getting at least 53 shots per fill with my tune. I have it topped with an Athlon Argos BGR FFP 6-24 X 50mm. The gun is fun to shoot and my wife and friend have shot it and been able to replicate the accuracy. I have several high end airguns and this is knocking on their door. The safety and fire switch are located in a easy to access area. Great job Air Venturi.

Things I would have changed:

The wooden trigger guard is unique, but I am concerned about it getting bumped and getting cracked or worse.

What others should know:

Clean the barrel really good before you start shooting, and try to go straight to the pellet that you think it will like the best. I knew my .25 caliber was going to like the JSB 33.95 MK II the best, and that is what I broke the barrel in with, and it shoots lights out. I treated the wood stock with renaissance wax. I use Ballistol for cleaning the barrel and protecting the metal. The picatinny rails are a nice touch and the sling attachments. Buy one, you won't regret it, and have fun shooting.

Things I liked:

Nice price

Things I would have changed:

Poor quality wood for a 600.00 rifle, 1 magazine would not function, and could not get a decent group without a couple flyers. No real trigger housing, it is wood molded into a trigger guard, prone to break if dropped or hit hard

What others should know:

Maybe I got a bad one as these are brand new offering, still expected better quality and stock finish and design.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate, reasonably priced for all the features and attractive wood stock.

    Things I would have changed:

Regulator still creeps a bit but this may be to be expected at this price point.

    What others should know:

    Buy it.

    Things I liked:

I like the wood stock on this gun. An like the way it shoot's , it's easy to hold steady. An hoping to find a slug that it will like. Waiting on some different weight's to try. An hope one will work for me. An like the the adjustabilty of the gun, an easy to adjust. Just read the manual...

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing i'd change, would be the skinny part of the forearm of the stock it's a bit skinny for me. Not much to hold onto.

    What others should know:

Well worth the money, an it can be made for different style's. An it it can get a lot of shot's on one fill. Which is very nice to have...

    Things I liked:

Trigger pull out of the box is great!! I mounted a scope, (it doesn't come with one) and off the back of a chair for support it's as good as I am. 100feet or 30.8meters I can get a group of 10 under a quarter. Pretty sure I could do really well on a NRA .22 rifle target at 50feet. Finally figured out how to load the magazine. It is great!! but like any mag fed rifle you go through the pellets really fast.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price I would change nothing.

    What others should know:

I have had really great luck with the Crossman Ultra Magnum pellets. Like I said it does not come with a scope so be warned. Luckily I had one from an old rifle.

    Things I liked:

I've had my .22 cal Avenge X for about 4 months now and absolutely love this platform. Everything about it has been great so far. The smooth lever action, the power, the accuracy. Sub 1/2" groups at 40 yds with JSB 25.39gr with ease. The picatinny rail is great for mounting your scope, much better than dovetail which is something the airgun industry needs to leave behind. The front picatinny accessory rail is perfect for mounting a bipod. You also get studs for mounting a sling, and the barrel is threaded 1/2-20 for a moderator. This rifle is incredibly quiet unmoderated, but with a moderator is by far the quietest air rifle I've ever heard. Substantially quieter than even my Notos! It's a really sharp looking rifle too, the wood stock is a step up from the Avenger. That being said, mine is no longer using the wood stock since Saber Tactical released their chassis, I have now converted to that.

    Things I would have changed:

The one and only complaint I has is the cheek comb is set way too low for most people. You have to use at least medium height scope rings to clear the magazine, and it's impossible to get a good cheek weld and gave your eye aligned with the scope. The other versions have an adjustable cheek riser, but for some reason opted not to with the wood stock version. I ended up making my own cheek riser for it. This is no longer an issue for me since changing to the saber tactical chassis, but something to consider. You will need to add some sort of cheek riser.

    What others should know:

Lots of adjustment capabilities as well, between the external regulator adjustment, transfer port dial, and easily accessible hammer spring adjustment screw. Just make sure you know what you're doing before fiddling with it, and a chronograph is essential for testing adjustments, so leave it alone until you get one. Overall it's an awesome feature packed rifle, with endless customization options, excellent power, and accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Build quality seems way better than the original Avenger.

    Things I would have changed:

Not as accurate as my Gen 1 Avenger. Quality Moderators don't work.

    What others should know:

Gun shoots OK, less accurate than my Gen 1 Avenger. I can not get a moderator to work with this gun. Tried a Donny FL Sumo.Clipped the Moderator. Tried a Hugget Snipe and .30 cal Magna. Clipped the .177-.22 Snipe and also the .25 cal Snipe. Pellets are all over the place. All 3 moderators work fine with my Avenger. Going to try another barrel. Ordered a .25 cal barrel and probe. Pulling my hair out trying to figure out what is wrong with this rifle. Most likely it is going to be returned.

    Things I liked:

Everything! Sweeeeeet! I have the Avenge-X, .22 cal, with the 400 cc air cylinder. It will shoot about 100 rounds on one fill. I have had it a week and shot about 200 rounds. Other than make it simi-automatic I don't know how it could be improved. It is super easy to shoot. It will stack bullets at 30 yards. It is almost silent. With the wood stock it is a good looking gun.

    Things I would have changed:

It isn't excessively heavy for this type gun but, making it lighter is the only thing that I can think of where it might be improved.

    Things I liked:

It’s substantially outperforms it’s original counterpart and many side-by-side comparisons. I made both in velocity, accuracy, tunability, and overall looks.

    Things I would have changed:

That trigger has to be dealt with at some point, both in terms of adjustment and overall replacement

    What others should know:

What you should know is this in my view is an exceptional value at its price point. Once again, the avenger line outperforms, anything at a similar price point, and many at an exceptionally higher price point. For those looking to improve the overall performance of the prior, this is the way to go. The one thing I do find a bit disconcerting is the long wate to get any change out barrels or pellet probs to change calibers. Lots of videos on how to do it out there. All I need is a barrel to try it out with!

    Things I liked:

My Avenge-X arrived this morning and already very happy with this purchase. Filled and set to "Pro- Tune" 1800 PSI reg pressure, mounted Arken 4- 16 scope and off to the range. So far, loving everything about this gun. Trigger perfect and to my liking right out of the box, I'm not even temped to adjust further. Accuracy at 50 yards superb. Averaged 870 FPS 30 lb/ft with reg on 1800 PSI with JSB 18.13 Exacts. I already own an Avenger/ wood stock in .22 and while it's a great gun at that price point and shoots very well, to me, this was a worthwhile upgrade. There's a much more of quality feel to this including cocking, trigger, receiver, scope rails, and in general. Beech-wood stock is very good for this price range as well as finish on metal parts.

    Things I would have changed:

Wood forearm a bit narrow for bench rest shooting but no where near a deal breaker. Not wild about wood trigger guard but quickly adapting.

    What others should know:

Have not yet tried the high/ low settings, just using high at this point.
