I have had my Vapor470 for about 2 months now. I am getting ready to put on my 5th string. First one broke, one replaced by tenpoint because they didnt like what was going on, two of them lost the serving.
At this point i am asking them to replace it one more time, since its been sent back for other issues twice (2 months old). If it doesn't last this time I am asking for a refund or replacement of the bow.
I shoot a lot, this and my other bows, but 40 shots per string isn't going to cut it

Center servings do not last past 50 shots,this is bad quality.

Watch your string for Fraying. So it does not break when shooting.

The original string came off the right side wheel. Disappointingly this happened during the second season hunting with this crossbow. I don't understand why it happened. The arrow was inserted properly.

Overall they suck. I shot maybe 80 times and the string failed. It was at the end loop. Not a wrong arrow, not a misfire. All was correct with the technique. Went off like a rifle. Ended my season on the second day. Gonna keep a close eye on them now!!

Take about 8 or 9 shots before making sight adjustments. Some break in needed for accuracy.

The crossbow is very nice, easy to use and very accurate. But like MANY reviews, the string serving last's less than 50 shots.

I've had my WR rdx400 acudraw pro 3 days. I went to the lease to get some distance practice in and about 15-17 rounds in, string popped. I have a total count of 50ish. Plenty of string and rail lube. Why would the string snap that soon? Went over everything last night. Lubed the string and cables this morning. Everything was good. Separated on the right limb. Looks like it was in the cam wheel.

I own a Carbon Nitro RDX (great crossbow) I'm on my third set of strings and cables, I've always just relace the hole set. There has always been a problem with the center serving string separation starting after just 20 shots. I'm careful to never over crank the accu draw and my shooting accuracy is constant. I actually want to try a more expensive custom cable and string but was told this would void my lifetime warranty. Sorry Tenpoint next time I may just give up on your strings.

The strings wear faster than I would anticipate. The black wrapping unravels on my Turbo and M1 crossbow strings. Need to improve wearability.

Using Tenpoint strings is required to maintain the bows warranty. I never had a problem with their strings.

They last a long time and really hold up to alot of shooting. My old string was on for 5 years and looked fine. I decided to get a new one to be safe.

Had a partial misfire due to a nock from a previous arrow coming out on the rail and not allowing the next arrow to fully align with the string. The string broke and now going on 4 weeks later, I can not get a new string or cable anywhere! I contacted tenPoint over two weeks ago and they have not responded! Customer service recieves an F.
