Tekto A5 Spry OTF Automatic Reviews

I bought my first Tekto and have carried it everyday. The blade stays sharp and is so lightweight to carry. I will definitely be getting another Tekto.

I purchased a Tekno folder and loved the construction. But I wanted an auto and purchased the A5 Spry. It's a great knife and great addition to my knife battery.

Overall seems to be a good knife. Not very sharp out of the box

A well designed and constructed automatic knife. Deploying and retracting the knife is lightning fast.

I bought the tanto and the dagger blade of the A5 Spry. Both are equally beautiful !

Blade stock isn't as thick as that of a MT Ultratech. Not nearly as factory sharp either. But gets through cardboard well enough. Action is EXCELLENT on par with a UT. The scale pattern had a slight defect with several exaggerated dots in the linear texturing

Makes zero difference in the grip and isn't horrible to look at.

10 stars for Tekto CS. Fedex lost my package and Tekto was quick to make things right and communication through phone calls and emails was excellent.

Buy with confidence!

I was on the fence about purchasing an out of the front knife from Tekto. In most cases you have to spend $400 plus for a real good quality knife of this type. I have a $400 OTF Benchmade which I love but not as much as my A5 Spry that was half the price. The quality was far beyond expectations. It's very light but yet feels solid. Will buy again and would recommend with confidence.

As the name states the Spry is in Force and Functional . There is nothing to dislike . Having made much of my living with knives as soon as I felt and deployed I knew I'd get much use with it . Keep up the Quality work ,I am a happy customer.

Light, durable, fits in my pocket well and has a tight mechanism. Was debating the purchase for almost a year and I wasn't disappointed. Enjoy!

I think the A5 Spry is wonderful

I just love it. Would love if the A2 Badger came back because I gave them all away as gifts and would love to win your possible lottery for a no cost new piece but I know there are many people in the running for that.

So I just recently discovered Tekto Knives and glad I freakin did... The Spry immediately caught my attention with the anodized green handle and black hardware to set it off. Extremely sleek and comfortable in hand and the action on this dude is freakin ridiculous, it immediately became the quickest otf I currently own. Very sharp tanto with a nice even grind and barely enough blade wobble to consider it being called blade wobble at all. All the hardware was nice and tight and did I mention the action on this thing?? I've carried this every day since receiving it so it's been in a variety of pants and shorts and the deep carry is comfortable in everything. I would totally buy this blade over again and if u guys come out with more colors for the handle I'm gunna have to collect them all... Well done Tekto, keep up the good work and can't wait to get more models in the future, I added sum pics in case anyone was wondering on size comparison..

What an amazing knife! The solid engagement of the blade inspires confidence when using. Feels good in the pocket, and love the look of the tanto blade. Overall would purchase again.

Well made knife. Smooth action. Some blade play when extended. Not a fan of Velcro for holding a $250 knife in place.

Blade is tighter than most OTF knives which is great. Blade deployment and retraction are both superb. Button is great with the right amount of firm pressure required for actuation.
Belt clip is loose and does not appear to be easily fixed.
I find the handle far too smooth making the knife slippery, especially when trying to get it out of your pocket.
If theses last two issues were addressed I believe this could be one of the best OTF knives available.

This is my second Tekto knife the F2 Bravo was the first and the A5 Spry is the second. Both are great knives and I highly recommend either one.

I've had three of this style knife and all of them have the same issue, occasionally it doesn't go in and you have to pull it out to reset. This is the lightest of these I own. Still.a.great knife

Shipped. Quickly and everything was as advertised. Very solid quality. Only complaint and it is minor but it could have been sharper.

I wasn't sure about ordering a knife off the internet. Ordering anything you've not held in your hand or seen in person is always a risk, but in the spirit of giving I rolled the dice and got this as a present for my husband. It was not only a hit, but now my brother, son, and brother-in-laws all want one as well.

It looks good (green) and it is well built. There is no way you will accidentally eject or retract this knife, but its not hard to use either. The size is great, not too small to be useful or too bulky to actually carry around. I'm very pleased with my internet gamble, but more importantly my husband loves it.

This is an excellent quality knife. Smooth, precise action; works every time; blade is tight; stylish, comfortable handle; nice thin blade is a good slicer. Good value for the money. I like it a lot.

It's a really neat knife!

The Spry is a solidly built knife that has a strong spring. I like the exact fit for my hands.
