Good idea

Better fitting adapters too lose

Worked on my Talon P 25cal but not my other airguns
Like I commented above it needs a much improved cal adapter system

It helps to minimize the time to sight a gun.

A better switch to turn it on/off.

Pay attention to the length of the barrel, has to be more than 3.8".

It does not work on weapons with silencers or some kind of moderator.

I bought this laser because it is the only unit on the market that can successfully be used to bore sight a smooth bore shotgun with any sort of choke installed. With any other bore sight unit, the choke restrictions prevent a good tight and concentric centering of the laser in the barrel. As the units centering arbor passes from the choke restriction to the full cylinder bore, it can no longer grip the wall of the barrel. This CentPoint laser solves that problem! I cannot believe this unit has been discontinued. It is the best affordable laser on the market

The stem that accepts the expanding arbor needs to be shortened by about one full inch or more. I wish they would not super glue the laser calibration set screws in place. B.

No laser will accurately bore sight an air gun if it has any kind of barrel shroud or suppressor.

I ordered one of these received it and unfortunately it did not work I notified Pyramydair And I got a email back with confirmation of them sending me a new one awesome support and they will have a customer for life happy to say the second one works great.

Not as large of a tapper is needed.

Your awesome! Reason for 4 stars is because it took two lasers to get one that works. Not everyone would have sent a replacement thanks! This was for my little girls new Diana pcp and she was so happy when she finally got to go shooting with dad!

it is the best one I have,,the screw-on barrel adapters are the best-no O-rings- expand smoothly and very accurate..

I used it with a red dot sight and found the red dot much bigger than the bore sight's dot so accuracy is a less sure thing with red dots with high MOA spots

Really cheap not worth the money

- on point. - fits .177 caliber. - not too expensive.

- .177 Caliber rod is cheap, its easy to loose an oring and make the part useless, i would of made it solid rubber. - maybe 5$ cheaper?

Make sure your barrel is pretty clean otherwise it might be an issue pushing this in. Put a drop of oil on the size rods before inserting to prevent damage to the rods rubber. One of the orings on the .177 rod got stuck in my gun, luckily i had other orings the same size otherwise the rod would be useless.

Small and easy of use

Adding an external bright light when in use! Adding a thin wall sleeve for the waffle walled silencers.The color to a bright orange! I'd like a bag or case to keep all the small parts in after I open the packaging.

Does not work well with silencers in place; 357, 457 units!

This is easy to use and expedites the scope sight-in process, The versatility of being able to use it with several calipers, especially .177 airguns, is important. It is a great value!

Offer an option of a green laser instead of a red to make it easier to see in daylight. Make the laser more powerful shrink the pattern at 25 yards. Change the packaging from a blister display card to a box or container for storage.

Please note that the advertised range limit is 25 yards outdoors and do not expect precise sighting. This laser allows to you to get on paper quickly and reasonably close to the bullseye.

I purchased this unit, because price was right.

The inserts, for lower calibers, are useless. I could not get two sightings to match, even after seven attempts. It does not offer a "snug" or secure fit, and actually moved, or wiggled, after I inserted it. The first time you attempt to insert, or remove, this bore sighter from a 177, or 22 caliber, the rubber stuck inside the weapon's barrel, and made the unit unless. The "off/on" witch is really poorly designed, and the only way to truly turn it off is to remove the batteries. Heck, I had to buy new ones the next day! I am surprised that Pyramid Air, a company I have come to respect, would sell a product of this terrible quality!

If I could find my receipt, I would return this product in a heart beat!
I strongly suggest you spend a few more bucks, and buy a bore sight from another company!
In other words, ya get what ya pay for, and I made a big mistake when I purchased this product.
In short, DON"T waste your money, or time, on this product!!!!!!

Looked well made and like the various bore attachments.

The batteries that came with it were dead.

As you screw the caliber tip onto the boresighter, the more you turn it, it will expand for a snugger fit in the barrel making it more accurate when sighing in.

The .177 tip broke the first time I used it. Before tip broke, the accuracy was not good, rotate it and the laser point would move in a circle.
