Bushnell Trophy XLT 4-12x40 AO Reviews

I put this Trophy on a 10/22 LVT and it was a great choice. I have 5 Bushnell Scopes now and am very happy with them all.

Wow, oh so many years ago I started with Weaver and Bushnell scopes and now I have come back to Bushnell. This scope provides good optics but most important for these old eyes, focus adjustment and a clean cross hair picture. No bs, just put the cross hairs on target and squeeze. This scope is for shooters like me who ask for no more than one shot and demand that I get within the flat trajectory of my rifle.

Nothing... well worth the cost

I have two!!! One on my LGU and another on my HW97K stainless... hair splitting combination in each instance!!

Good quality at a reasonable price. I put it right up there with the two variable-focus Leupold scopes I already have for my varmint rifles.

This is a good scope specifically designed for air guns. The 10 yard minimum force distance is ideal for my Crosman KT2400 .177 Pistol/Carbine setup.

Scope boke after 10 shots on Beeman RX2 air rifle

It's a nice looking scope.(But) I bought a Beeman RX2 .22 cal along with the Bushnell Scope. 700 pellets later the power changing ring locked up, Bushnell replaced it, i paid shipping. Two weeks ago 50 pellets later the eyepiece o-ring fell out and the lens was moving. Not happy at all.

Discontinue this product.

I am waiting on a response from Pyramid Air as to what my options are.

The optics were sharp and clear.

I mounted this scope on a Gamo Bone Collector Bullwhisper IGT and within the first 5 pellets fired the crosshairs broke. I know any company can from time to time put out a faulty product and I'm sure this was the case with this scope, but my experience with this scope is what this review is about.

Looks great on top of my xl 1100. Got tired of sending back Chinese junk(leapers,hawke) just to name a couple. You can spend 70-100 bucks and get a scope with all the bells and whistles but the craftsmanship is not there. If you want quality then buy this scope because hitting the bullseye and getting that kill is all that matters and this scope delivers every time.

I had inquired of Bushnell and they said their scopes from the "Trophy series on up" are suitable for air rifles. This is a quality scope, it's mounted on my HW 50S,
and it works well. I got tired of sending cheaper scopes back after only a few shots so I bought this. Bushnell has been around for years and so should this scope.

I've shot around 500 rounds so far with this scope. Accurate and stays dialed in. I have it on an Air Arms TX200MIII. Get's the job done. The AO adjustment is right on as far as Yardage goes.At 30 yards the lens is clearest at the 30 yard setting.Same thing at 50 yards.Good way to estimate distance.

The flip up covers are more trouble than they are worth. I broke the eye piece hinge the first time I cocked the rifle against my body.Lose the flip up covers and replace them with Bikini Type.

I have 2 Bushnell Banner 4-12X40 scopes and 1 Bushnell 4-12X40 Trophy.
Tell you the truth..I don't see a lot of difference between the two.
Not sure if the extra $59. is justified for the Trophy.
