they make a bigger explosion if you hit them in the center but if you knick one you get a small blast of powder and can hit it again for a second blast/..// pretty good burst of powder when hit full on. fun and very safe there is no fire danger but a little expensive Nice "poof" of powder, fun targets

make them cheaper

hit them again until they are shattered, the powder will give you more than one hit sometimes. totally fire safe, nothing explosive just harmless powder inside the plastic.

Onl use one golf ball it didn’t explode maybe a bad one but a fun ideal

leaves a lot of plastic litter, pick up after yourself. i found several complete halves after shooting and was able to fill with chalk and reglue them. i got 12 targets out of a 9 pack!

It's nice to shoot at targets that do something rather than just a paper target! Sometimes, depending on how the golf ball is hit, there is enough of it left to use as an additional target.

I wish they blew up with a bang instead of a puff of smoke.

The first golf balls we got, we got tees along with the balls to set them on. The latest boxes of golf balls did not include the tees.

Using "exploding" in the name is misleading since there is no "explosion" only some powder kicked up by the energy of the round breaking the hard shell of the "ball"

Will keep the kiddos busy for an hour or so, not very entertaining for adults. Way more fun to sneak one onto your buddy's tee at the range or country club than they are to shoot

The idea was neat - see a puff of white when hitting the balls.

They need to be marketed better. A .177 pellet at 7-8 fpe goes through, and doesn't make much of a poof. They aren't clear about needing a larger round that does more damage to make them actually work.

While I feel like it was a waste of 10 bucks for my uses, please don't take it wrong. I suspect if you were using a larger caliber it might actually work nicely.

They would be better if there was some loud sound when they're hit. Other than the sound of the golf ball being hit by the pellet!!

I also shot these with a Marauder air rifle and had problems EXPLODING them. Total disappointment. Hopefully this will help someone else trying to decide.

I used hot-glue gun to attach the balls to the supplied long tees, so vibration and wind couldn't knock them over before I could shoot them (a major frustration before gluing). After that, they were a blast to shoot (pun intended). They are actually a hard plastic shell, filled with white powder, so they are able to stand up to handling very well.

Actually don't break very well. Set up 2 at 25 yds to surprise my grandsons. Took 2 hits each from a .22 Marauder PCP for them to realize then were fake and "exploding" golf balls. Very little powder in each. Took 4-5 shot each to shatter enough to drop from the small piece of tape holding them.
