Steambow was born in cooperation between passionate crossbow archers and a precision parts manufacturer with 15 years of experience producing highly technical and mechanically advanced parts for the aviation, automotive and defense industries. This combination of passion and perfection led to years of intense deliberation, testing and refinement to create the Steambow Power Unit. This unit is the heart of all Steambow products, and takes them from being conventional crossbows to the compact, fast, safer cocking crossbow it is today.
Steambow and Air Venturi partnership was a match made in heaven, combining Air Venturi's HPA expertise and archery innovation from Steambow. Powered by HPA tanks or CO2 cartridges, Steambow takes "the power of air" to the next level, and is perfect for those new to crossbows, as well as veterans alike.

What makes Steambow so special (and useful!) is their patented technology that basically takes the proven technology of compressed air or CO2 canisters used in airguns and paintball guns and applies it to the crossbow. It takes care of cocking, loading and decocking the Steambow. You simply push a button, and it loads/cocks the crossbow. You can decock just as fast and safely.
Along with this nearly silent cocking/decocking system, the Sen-X Onyx is also collapsible for easy transportation, and you can safely store it loaded. It also has a longer lifespan than conventional crossbows.
This crossbow is completely black to give it a tactical look and shoots bolts at up to 330 fps with a massive 100 foot-pounds of power. No small game stands a chance. But it's also perfect for target practice, and thanks to the cocking system, even people with physical limitations can enjoy and participate in the sport. Steambow also offers a repeater that gives you a modern spin on a centuries-old weapon. The Sen-X AR-6P is a six-shot repeating crossbow pistol that fires arrows at up to 220 fms.
