What is an AirSoft weapon? Simply put, it is an air gun that projects plastic BBs either through the use of a manually cocked spring, compressed gas or an electric motor. Velocities are controlled so as not to exceed certain limits, making them safe to use for target practice in a backyard or as a weapon during a simulated combat game.
