Ease of installation, I have been a spring man for 45 years and have repaired tuned spring guns with their itricasies and magic potions. This repair was a snap.
Things I Would Have ChangedI have little knowledge about gas rams, no coment.
What Others Should KnowAlways use a spring Compressor, Stay safe.
The nitro piston is reasonably price. With online videos, replacement was fairly easy with the use of a self-made jig. Once replaced, definitely a difference in power.
What Others Should KnowI recommend purchasing the right lubricant prior to replacing the the piston. Molly paste lubricant seams to work well.
I am using this piston to convert a springer to a smoother Nitro Piston action and it should reduce the forward and backwards recoil that springers are known for. It was a fairly straight forward change over and I only needed a file to remove a small amount of metal to make everything fit easily. All the other tools I used were what you have to have to take apart a springer.
Things I Would Have ChangedThere was no need to modify the Piston as it fit into the housing with no changes, I just had to file the plug that holds the Piston in position in the chamber.
What Others Should KnowNot a problem to exchange the Piston for a spring, if you are comfortable taking apart your springer.
Everything. You don't realize how worn out a nito piston is until you replace it. Benjamin shoots had and fast once again.
Things I Would Have ChangedHave it NOT made in china. Any other country in the world, just not china.
What Others Should KnowGet a real spring compressor, not a cheap little unit. The venteri thing can't compress this.
I wish I could compliment the part, but this is one thing from Pyramyd I won't purchase again.

It was relatively easy to i stall after watching a detailed short video on You Tube. And it seems to have more power than the original NitroPiston.

What Others Should KnowWatch a video on how to change. Do not disassemble the trigger assembly. It is not complicated.
