B-Square 17025 2-Pc 3/8" to Weaver Base

A good idea for mounting a scope.

These bases should be made of steel.

I have purchased 2 pair of these because they are very easy to strip. Even being careful and not applying excessive tightening force, my first set stripped one of the mounting screws.

Low profile doesn't add too much to the scope height.

Make grooves a little wider.

The grooves seem a little small for my Centerpoint rings but once tightened down, it doesn't move so I can't complain.

Machining of product appears to be good quality , no tool marks on finished product. Overall appearance and workmanship good . Iron sights usable with optic removed on my pistol. ( if mounts do not walk on recoil )

Mounting screws are somewhat soft.Harder screw would allow you to torque screw to recommended 35 inch pounds without damage to screw .

I purchased this mount to install a optical red dot sight on a Browning 800 Mag air pistol in .22 cal. The sight I used required only one base and weighs only 1 1/2 oz. The mount was degreased as well as the dove tail rail and tightened to 35 inch pounds . The mount would NOT hold position on the rail while shooting.I installed the second mount behind the first and still both mounts and optical sight walked on the dove tail. I am having a scope stop made from a one peice scope mount base for a high power rifle . The stop will use the existing holes ( two are drilled and tapped and two are not ) for the rear sight of the pistol . This scope stop is a rather expensive endeavor so I hope it works in conjunction with the B-square mount bases. In short these mount bases did not do what I expected them to.If you remove the optical sight to use your iron sights be careful as these bases keep walking and will bend the clamping portion of the base when they reach the end of the dovetail slot . Easy to install and low profile.

I wanted a low profile Weaver base and these add only 1/4 inch height to the receiver. Using high Leupold QRW rings and a Hawke Airmax 2x7-32, I have a removable scope and can still use the iron sights on my HW35E. They work great.

fit & finish was a-1 looks great on my mrod & it worked great on my qb78.

Worked great on my MCT Airwolf. They seem well made and sturdy.

Just need to spread them slightly with a screwdriver etc. so they will slide on the rail easily until you tighten them.

They work great! I have them on three rifles and no problems so far. The low profile design allows you to use weaver style rings without raising the scope too high. I even used these to mount my 3.5 pound ATN nightvision scope on my Discovery and they are holding up fine. I would not use these on a magnum spring gun because they don't have a stop pin and you may get some scope creep.

Easy installation. Rock-solid hold. Gave me just enough clearance for a big scope. Getting a Weaver base from a 3/8" dovetail....what's not to like?

I did NOT install these on an air gun, so I cannot testify to how they would work on one. These where put on top of my CZ 452 American bolt action rimfire rifle. I have a big 50mm objective scope on this rifle. It holds firm with NO movement what so ever. Would buy again and again for this purpose. Well worth the money!

size and ease of installation.

I don't know..... Maybe if it actually held your scope in place. I think that would be a good starting point.

Bought this for my Gamo csi with nitro piston. I'm getting about a 1/4" of creep every 10 shots!!! Don't waste your money! Gonna try the B-square rail next I'll let you know how it preforms.
