I’ve now put a few hundred rounds through my CZ457 22lr with the Midas Tac on it. For the price point, I think this optic is hard to beat. Obviously, the glass isn’t as good as higher-priced scopes, but it’s good nonetheless. Thus far, adjustments have been true and repeatable. Other than durability (too soon to assess that), repeatability of adjustments is my main criteria. I’ll update if anything changes.

This scope performs very well. Tracks great, I am using it on a .22 lr that gets shot out to 300 yards so the turrets get used a lot.

I get that all scopes have some level of distortion / chromatic aberration. So on a scale of 1-10 (10=best) how would you rate this scope? If you can please how does it compare to other optics, where its best and worst all through it's range and particularly at its highest (16x) magnification.
Athlon is a good scope line. They are very clear. I have several and they do very well at long range target shooting.

This is by far my favorite general purpose scope that AThlon makes. I have a bunch of them and this stands out best as a general purpose hunting scope. The glass is amazing for the pricepoint, the turrets have great feel, the reticle isn't cluttered and can be used for ranging because it is FFP. It is a little on the heavy side but not too heavy. It is on a 270wsm build with a proof carbon fiber barrel and defiance anTi x action sitting in an MDT HNT26 chassis. The balance with this scope is simply amazing and still keeps the rifle well below 8lbs. It makes an amazing light weight long range hunting rifle.
